The Mexican melting pot of culture

We’ve never been to Central America before, so didn’t know what to expect. Were we going to eat tacos for every meal, was Heena going to be able to find vegetarian food, could we drink anything other than tequila and beer? Well the answer is yes to all of that — add in a huge portion of blended culture and super friendly people and you’ve got a top country to visit!

Mexico is so much more than tequila and tacos! The people are happy, friendly and hardworking, the food is vibrant, spicy, and so tasty, and most of all there is such a mixture of cultures that make up today’s Mexican way of life! That is something to be celebrated and it’s hard to understand why anyone wouldn’t want to integrate with such a great country.

During our time in Mexico we experienced a #confusionofcultures that included Maya, modern-day Mexican, Spanish, American, Italian, French, German, Dutch and Backpackers (yes that is a culture in itself), so here’s our take on how each of these bring something to “Make Mexico great” (thanks Trump for the quote).
